WAHOOOOOOO!!!

Know why I'm so excited? I recently found out there was hope for the empty shell that was Cartoon Network. Last we heard from them, they were slowly destroying themselves by airing live-action shows on CN Real. BUH-ARF! But from what I heard, they're getting forced by other Time-Warner execs to return to their animation roots & air some more of their original programming (further proof that not all executives are bad), greenlighting some newer animated series, & they even found spots for older favorites, like Looney Tunes & Pink Panther. They're still airing some of the live-action crap, but it's getting less time on the schedule. I'm just hoping things will get even better...

In other news, please do not watch 2012. It's getting undeserved attention (heck, even Roger Ebert seemed to enjoy it) & fooling people gullible enough to believe that the world's going to end at that point. I haven't seen it myself, but since I'm against the stupid theory, I don't want to. *Maxtaro did, though, saying that he doesn't believe in that theory either & that he only wanted to see how bad it would be (since it is made by Roland Emmerich, the same idiot responsible for screwing with Godzilla), & he did, resulting in an extremely long & negative review on the movie. Trust me, even when I don't agree with his opinions a lot of the times (I don't usually agree with critics until I watch to know), he still does seem to know what makes a movie good or bad.

Uh... hello?

Yeah, I'm maniacaldude, or Landon, as close friends know me. Yeah, I'm planning on becoming a cartoonist that not only comes up with creative, entertaining work, but hopes to accomplish various goals. I'm trying to save the entertainment industry from mediocre animation & programming (WAY too much CGI, although some CGI kicks butt as well), prove to American audiences that cartoons aren't for kids & that they can be for older audiences as well (as a big lover of Japanese culture, I notice that Japan considers manga & anime to be an art form & they treat it as an equal, despite being animated), and to let my thoughts known to the world.

I'm also a high-functioning autistic, so if you say anything against it or make fun of it, prepare to have an axe sent through your forehead.

I love not only drawing, but video games, internet, TV (well, some of the older shows mainly), music, movies, & reading. I consider sports to be one of the most overrated, overhyped things ever (but that won't stop me from using them at times in my comics) & I don't understand why crap like High School Musical, Hannah Montana, & The Jonas Brothers are so freakin' popular. I'm also a fan of satirical reviewers Douglas Walker (The Nostalgia Critic) & James Rolfe (The Angry Video Game Nerd).
